MORE UPCOMING EVENTS...

PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND BAKE SALE Join us on Sunday, January 29th for our 22nd Annual Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale from 7:00 AM to Noon.  The menu consists of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, applesauce, and a beverage for just $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (10 and under).  Our talented chefs are members of the Oregon/Brooklyn VFW Post 10272 and we would like to thank them for 22 consecutive years of their donation of time and labor towards this fundraiser!  The delicious items at our bake sale are donated by area senior volunteers—be sure to come early for the best selection of bars, pies, breads, and cookies.  Donations of baked goods, skim and 2% milk, coffee and orange juice will be accepted—please call 835-5801 if you are interested in making a donation.  If you are home bound and unable to attend, delivery will be made available to you.  Reservations are required for this service and must be made by Thursday, January 26th.  Donations of baked goods can be dropped off at the Senior Center on Friday, January 27th from 8:00 AM—4:00 PM and on Saturday, January 28th from 2:00—4:00 PM.

Elvis B-Day Celebration
Come and swoon over Elvis as we celebrate his birthday with our very special, very groovy, and very talented Dan Sutter as he performs as Elvis!  (Last year, onlookers thought that Dan was lip syncing to a recording—but we can assure you he really is that good!) So mark your calendars for Friday, January 6th @ 1:00 PM and go GA—GA over the King!  Call 835-5801 by January 5th to sign up! Thank you, thank you very much.
Intro to Superfoods
In this class, you’ll enjoy a tasty and refreshing sample and introduction to Superfoods.  Superfoods are both a food and a medicine. They are a class of the most potent, super-concentrated, and nutrient-rich foods on the planet. They are known to improve the severity and symptoms of nearly every major disease or condition known, including chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, ADD, allergies, arthritis, and skin disorders. Come to this class to learn optimum choices for improving your overall health and boosting your immune system.  Taught by April Wahl of Abundant Living Yoga.  Cost is $25.00 for individual or $40.00 if registering for two!  Class held on Tuesday, February 8th at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM (sign up for which time works best for you)!  Call 835-5801 to register by Tuesday, January 31st to reserve your seat.  *note: class is elective for participants, medical claims are not endorsed by the Senior Center and this class is not an alternative to a visit to your Physician.
