Introduction to Craigslist is a class to familiarize students with Craigslist’s various features. The features will be identified, discussed and demonstrated in a classroom environment. This class is presented at a summary level in which several features will be reviewed. Topics will include; services available, use of services, sections/catagories (jobs, housing, for sale, community, resumes, discussion forums, etc.), creating an account, buying, getting alerts for item availability, buying/selling, safety/security, email addresses and anonymous email addresses. Instructor Dick Rydecki will be teaching this class in a two– week session on Tuesdays June 14th and 21st from 9:00—11:00 AM. Cost is $10.00. Call Erica at 835-5801 to sign up!

Want to learn piano? Think it’s too late to start?  We are excited to welcome the Rhapsody Arts Center back to offer a ten week beginner’s session of piano lessons right here at the Senior Center!  This a great opportunity to learn a new talent among friends & those who share the interest in making music in a relaxing, no pressure environment!  This 45 minute class is held once per week, and the cost is ONLY $20.00 to cover the price of the book! Need a few reasons to try this opportunity? It’s fun, a great avenue of self-expression, stress relieving, allows your creativity to shine...those are just a few!  Class will be held on Thursday afternoons starting on June 16th at 1:30 PM.  Call Erica at 835-5801 to register—only 5 openings for this class!

Use an easy technique to paint on silk, and leaves or other opaque or organic materials to create beautiful silk scarves.  The sun will do the work!  Create one scarf—no art background necessary.  Bring an art smock or apron, rubber gloves, spray bottle, leaves, feathers, old lace, texture or other items that we can add to the painting and have the sun reverse the color.  Taught by Nancy Welch on Tuesday, July 26th from 1:00—3:00 PM.
